Inaugural relay event perfect option to experiance 10 miler fall classic on Sunday, Oct. 25

Runners who may not yet be ready to cover 10 miles at the EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler now have the opportunity to share in the fun by running the third edition with a teammate in a new 2-person relay option for the 2015 race, scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 25.

“The EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler relay is a great way to experience the spirit of the event and to inspire you and your teammate to take your training to the next level,” said P3R CEO Patrice Matamoros. “Fall is a great time of year for road racing. Each year we’ve seen the popularity of the race grow,  and we anticipate record participation again this year.”

The relay exchange between team members will happen approximately halfway through the scenic 10-mile course. All EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler Relay participants will receive a medal, race bib, timing chip and race shirt. Prizes will be awarded to the top three male, female and co-ed teams.

The EQT Foundation, the charitable arm of EQT Corp, which is one of this region’s largest natural gas producers, has been the title sponsor of the EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler since it launched in 2013.  The race attracts world-class competition and is one of six races on the 2015-16 PRRO Circuit,  a nationwide series of premier non-marathon road racing events.

The registration fee for the EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler is $40 for the individual 10-mile event and $70 for the  2-person relay until Tuesday, July 7. For more information or to register, visit: www.Pittsburgh10Miler.org
