More than 5,000 runners from 32 states are expected to participate in the Nov. 6 event
- P3R announced street closures related to the 2016 EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler, scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 6. The 4th edition will feature 5,000 participants from 32 states and will kick off the 2016-17 PRRO Circuit, a series showcasing world class competition at five classic road races.
The race will start on West Carson Street near Station Square, continue through the West End, North Side, Strip District, and Downtown, and finish on Liberty Ave. near 7th Street in front of the EQT building.
Road closures for the event will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Nov. 6, with a rolling opening as runners pass through each neighborhood. In addition to the closures, no cars will be able to park on any roads used by the race route starting at 4:00 a.m. that morning.
