PITTSBURGH (October 28, 2019) – P3R announced road closures related to the 2019 EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 2. More than 4,500 participants from 34 states and three countries are expected to participate in the seventh edition of the event.
The 2019 EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler course is similar to courses from years past, taking participants on a scenic tour of four of Pittsburgh's unique neighborhoods and across three of its golden bridges. The race will:
- Start on West Carson Street near Station Square;
- Continue through the West End, North Side, Strip District and Downtown; and
- Finish Downtown in front of EQT Plaza, on the corner of 7th Street and Liberty Avenue.
For the first time ever, participants will be running through Pittsburgh-themed miles such as the Mr. Rodgers Mile and the Pierogi Mile. Click here

Road closures for the event will take place from 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, with a rolling opening, as runners pass through each neighborhood. In addition to these closures, cars will not be able to park on roads along the race route starting at 12:00 a.m.

Individuals heading to the Strip District will be able to access the Strip during the race. See these maps
for directions coming from the north, south, east and west. Shuttles will also be leaving the finish line and taking runners back to the Strip District for the after-party at Wigle Whiskey. Shuttles will transport runners from the downtown area beginning at 9 a.m. through 2 p.m., and they will drop runners off at 21st Street.
