P3R Announces Road Closures for 2024 EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler and 10K on Sunday, Nov. 3
PITTSBURGH – As one of Pittsburgh’s most anticipated fall races, the 2024 EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler and 10K will bring together over 5,000 runners from 30 states and four countries for a scenic tour of Pittsburgh’s iconic neighborhoods and landmarks. P3R has announced the following road closures in preparation for the event, scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 3.
The 10K race will start at 7:30 a.m. near mile 4 of the 10-mile course at West General Robinson Street, taking participants through the Strip District and Downtown areas. The 10-mile race will begin at 8:30 a.m. from West Carson Street near Station Square, winding through the historic West End, North Side, Strip District, and Downtown before concluding in front of EQT Plaza at the corner of 7th Street and Liberty Avenue. Road closures will be in effect from 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3, as participants pass through each neighborhood. In addition, no parking will be allowed on streets along the race route starting at 4:00 a.m. Any cars that remain parked after 4:00 a.m. will be towed. Residents and businesses on or near the course are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternative routes or public transportation when possible.
